Be a part of the long and rich ceremonial traditions of Beccles Air Cadets.
It’s not just about foot stamping and polishing things!
Teamwork
A good parade doesn’t just happen by luck. You will gain experience working as part of a team and following one leader. Equally, you will gain experience of leading a team, giving words of command, instruction and feedback in order to improve and achieve the end result.
Skill
Drill is a skill to be learnt and practiced. From the very basics of individual static foot drill, through marching as part of a squad of 12 or more, to specialist Rifle, Banner & Band drill at public events and parades. Drill is a skill which will help improve your attention to detail, precision & ability to work as part of a team.
Self Pride
It all begins with a blue shirt and trousers. The uniform of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets. You will very soon be striving to achieve the highest standard of turnout from a perfectly ironed shirt, to shoes polished to a glass like shine. It is addictive, and you will want to take pride in your turnout and the effort you’ve put in.
