Nijmegen

No, I haven’t just randomly hit the keyboard and hoped for the best… Nijmegen is a town in Holland that host an annual march over four days. It is the biggest walking event in the world. For four days, a distance of 30 km, 40 km, or 50 km is covered every day. The march originated in 1909 as an event for the military. Nowadays anyone is welcome to join and walkers from more than 70 different countries walk along.
