Raft Building

Last Friday the squadron relocated to Bungay Staithe to engage in an evening of Raft building. The cadets utilised training that they had been given during the last year in how to build a raft from four empty barrels, some Pine Poles and a few lengths of rope. Cadets then paddled along the river and picked up a further two team member before returning to the jetty. Unfortunately the part of the lesson dealing with ensuring the poles are sufficiently secured appears to have been forgotten...
