Drill & Awards for Beccles Air Cadets

On Friday Cadets spent part of the night practicing and refining their basic drill, an important skill to learn instilling a sense of pride and self discipline.

The night culminated in 4 cadets being awarded their blue First Aid award. This is awarded for undertaking and passing the British Heart Foundations Heartstart training. The course teaches the cadets how to recognise a heart attack and a cardiac arrest, help an unconscious person, perform CPR, help someone choking & respond to serious bleeding.
